Travel Edge Network has launched a new social media campaign called “The Big Ticket” and a corresponding contest designed to attract new travel advisors.
The campaign focuses on the benefits of travel advisors, and participants are asked to record a 60-second video explaining why they want to sell luxury travel. Travel Edge suggested that contestants use videos to highlight their favorite travel photos and videos.
Contest winners will be registered with a Toronto-based sponsoring agency and sent on an sponsored professional development trip designed to jump-start their careers. The contest will last until January 26th. The two winners will be chosen in early February.
Winners will also become Travel Edge’s “Brand Ambassadors” and create content highlighting their new career and the host agency’s services.
Travel Edge said the campaign will be featured on a number of platforms, including TikTok and LinkedIn, as well as Meta and Google-owned platforms.
“Through this campaign, we are identifying people with a passion for travel, encouraging them to consider a career path as an independent advisor, and equipping them with the tools, resources and training to launch and succeed in an unlimited career. We want to offer them: growth potential, independence and flexibility to accommodate different lifestyles,” said Nadiya Makarenko, senior vice president of Travel Edge.
