Shakira had a stalker from El Paso, Texas
Another female singer who was stalked was none other than Shakira. On January 9, 2024, it was reported that Daniel John Baltier, a 56-year-old man from El Paso, was arrested in Miami for allegedly sending multiple gifts to Shakira’s home. He also posted a number of posts online claiming that she was his “wife.” Many have become shared thanks to various news sources.
Mark David Chapman is from Fort Worth, Texas.
Yes, the man who stalked John Lennon, Mark David Chapman, was from Fort Worth, Texas. After getting an autograph from John, Mark returned to the Dakota Apartments and shot John Lennon twice in the back and twice in the shoulder. John Lennon died on December 8, 1980, with Mark left at the scene of the crime.
Mark was charged with second-degree murder and is currently serving a life sentence.
