Atlanta is home to the world’s busiest airport, with plenty of domestic and international flights. The team “City Lights” helps avid travelers prepare for their next adventure with our regular series “ATL Up and Away: Travel Tips with Rick Steves.”
Rick Steves is a highly popular television and radio public host, best-selling guidebook author, and activist who encourages people to expand their horizons through travel.
Each month, Rick joins “City Lights” as a travel contributor, sharing advice on how to make the most of your time away from Atlanta.
In an interview today, Rick Steves spoke with “City Lights” host Lois Lights about his itinerary and where he would stay in his dream destination in 2024.
“Go where your travel dreams take you. If you have Irish heritage, go for it. If you’re a fan of World War II history, build your entire itinerary around it. “If you’re a fan of the beach and Spanish food, you know where to go,” says Steves.
