La Ciudad’s dedicated news team embraced the vibrant spirit of the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo during the Mexico Rodeo Extravaganza and seized the opportunity to capture the essence of this iconic event. .
With cameras and microphones in hand and a passion for storytelling and showcasing the rich tapestry of Mexico’s rodeo festival, we sat at Fork surrounded by two bullfighters, Jorge Delijorge and José María Pastor. We interviewed Jessica, a lower dancer.
With Mariachi Sol de Mi Terra, folklorico dancers in colorful costumes and graceful movements welcome enthusiastic crowds to the Denver Coliseum and Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza. Jessica has been dancing for 26 years, since she was 2 years old, and says she is very proud to be a part of one of the greatest displays of Mexican culture directed by renowned charro Jerry Diaz.
