“There’s a lot of Native American history and culture that a lot of people don’t know about,” said Sun Eagle, who is also a member of the Pawnee tribe. “This is a chance for people from surrounding communities to come to our local museum and immerse themselves in the rich history and culture and beauty of Native Americans.”
In addition to historic presentations by representatives of the Pawnee and Lipan Tribes of Texas, attendees can enjoy a Discovery Cart filled with local Native American artifacts, an “Ojo de Dios” weaving station, live performances by locals, and more. , you can look forward to a variety of engaging activities. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with Mexican danza group Calpuri Ehecatl Paparotzin and other historical figures throughout the museum.
