One of Southwest Airlines’ best deals of the year is back. Save up to 40 percent on base fares across the company’s network.
This sale must be reserved by Thursday, January 11th at 11:59pm PT and is available for travel from January 30th to May 22nd. Travelers should use the promo code “WOW” when searching for flights on Southwest Airlines’ website or app. Check the savings applied.

While many airline deals tend to exclude popular travel days like Sundays and Mondays, Southwest Airlines’ current sale offers discounts on flights within the continental United States every day.
- 40% off for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- 30% off for travel on Mondays and Thursdays
- 25% discount on Saturday trips
- 20% off for travel on Friday and Sunday
For those planning a spring break trip, there are some blackout dates to note, especially in March. Travel to the continental United States is excluded March 9-10, March 16-17, March 23-24, and March 30-31. In addition, travel to Florida is also excluded until March 1, March 7-8, and March 15. March 22nd, March 28th-29th.
Southwest travelers who really want to “get on vacation” can take advantage of 30 percent off flights to international destinations, as well as Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The blackout dates are February 15-18 and March 7-31 for flights to these destinations, and February 23-27 and March 3 for return flights from these destinations. The period is from April 14th to April 7th.
