Creighton volleyball has added a national champion to its 2024 roster.
Elise Getzinger announced on Instagram that she is transferring to become a Blue Jay.
The 6-foot-4 middle blocker was part of the starting lineup for the University of Kentucky’s championship win in the spring of 2021.
She averaged 2.58 kills and 0.74 blocks per set.
“We are excited to add Elise to our team this spring,” Creighton head coach Kirsten Bernthal-Booth said. “We played against Elise several times during her time at Kentucky, so we know what a great player she is. We look forward to having her on our side of the net. !”
