At a star-studded event like the Golden Globes, it’s no surprise that many celebs finally get the chance to meet their heroes. However, these adorable interactions aren’t often caught on camera and shared with the world.
Brie, a literal Oscar winner herself, revealed her excitement at being in front of Hollywood royalty in an interview with the outlet.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Everywhere you look you’re just surrounded by legends,” she gushed. “So I was just standing there and Oprah walked up beside me.”
Brie tried to convince herself that she wasn’t dreaming, but she suddenly stopped when she noticed a superstar standing right behind her.
“Oh my god,” she said, turning around and closing her eyes in complete awe. “I’m going to cry. I can’t date J.Lo.”
A star-struck Brie explained that it was Jennifer who first inspired her to pursue acting, and as she tried to calm down, she realized that her idol was moving in her direction. He said it became clear.
When Brie finally met him, she nervously introduced herself to the singer and tearfully told him: “You are very important to me.”
Jennifer returned the compliment, saying she’s a “huge fan,” and Brie ultimately took the opportunity to share her appreciation for the icon while holding her hand on the red carpet.
“I saw Serena And that made me want to be an actor. And you’ve always meant so much to me,” she said of Jennifer’s 1997 film, adding that it had been her lifelong “dream” to thank her in person.
“Your work ethic is so important,” Bree continued. “Thank you. I’ve been wanting to tell you that for a long time, and really, I didn’t think it would happen now. Okay. I have to go get some tequila or something.” .”
Jennifer, clearly moved by the candid confession, thanked Brie profusely before joking that she was just taking a shot to calm her nerves.
After Brie left, Jennifer cleaned up the sweet moment and told ET,she brought up the topic of movies Serena, still touches people’s hearts even after all these years. That’s very moving for me too. ”
